Game Developers for GamerGate 2

I said GamerGate 2 has my blog.

I mean it.

Some gamer dude puts up a curation list of all of the games Sweet Baby Inc has worked on. SBI got angry and tried to get him cancelled. People started to call it out. Grummz and others have started to stand against it. SBI and ideologues use the Department of Homeland Security grants to demand all game developers to denounce GamerGate 2.

It’s happening to all kinds of creative pursuits. Leftists tell authors, you need sensitivity readers to help out edit out all the offensive materials. You have Leftists demanding comic book companies to be more inclusive. You have Leftists push their ideology into every TV show and Movie.

Ask someone like Margaret Weis about how much of her and Tracy Hickman’s new DragonLance novels were edited beyond belief by sensitivity readers.

Sweet Baby Inc and other ideologues want to control the mainstream, to force their views on the majority of people to change the world. The huge problem with this, most of the mainstream do not care. Games, movies, and video games suffer because of it.

Let me give you some marketing education.

When you’re a movie company, AAA video game studio, or major comic book publisher, your goal isn’t about awareness. It’s all about market share. You don’t want create something for a small group, you create content for as many people as possible. So having Girl Boss movies like the Marvels isn’t going to cut it.

You have to honour what the fans expect, including the infamous “straight-white male” audience.

But these projects cost so much money, the companies need to seek out the best loans. And that’s where Sweet Baby Inc comes in. The big studios look for the cheapest loans, and you get them when you show your social conscience – Diversity Equity and Inclusion(DEI) scores are big determiners for those loans.

So, all of a sudden, the last Kevin Conroy’s portrayal of Batman has Harley Quinn shooting him in the face, talking about as a “Good Guy” he beat up a lot of people on the streets. That’s the last time Kevin Conroy played as Batman. It’s a disgrace. Sweet Baby Inc worked on the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

The game developer needs cheap loans, and gamers and Batman fans get shit on. Then the marketing departments insult the gamers for being bigots. Movies, Comics, Games – if you don’t like something, you’re a bigot.

As the controversy becomes stronger, so does the tactics of the ideologues. Take That, an organization that thinks the gaming industry leads to soft white supremacy, has made documents asking all game developers to denounce GamerGate 2 using money from the Department of Homeland Security. Why the government needs to be called in to deal with a conversation between gamers and game developers is beyond me? If you wanted to know when it’s a great time to side with libertarians, it’s now.

But what does this mean for Amazing Gaming Productions?

My main competitor is Wizards of the Coast. The fact they work with Sweet Baby Inc makes so much sense now. Orcs are racist depictions, Beholders being evil is problematic, and the Hadozee, a winged monkey race in SpellJammer, is offensive.

If you don’t like it, you’re a bigot.

That is according to Sweet Baby Inc.

Here’s another marketing lesson. I’m giving so much for free right now.

Marketing is telling people why you are different/better than your competitors. All I need to do is agree with GamerGate 2. I will never use Sweet Baby Inc. I don’t want the “cheap loans” they would make available.

This goes right into my blog about indie being the best alternative. Instead of loans, I want to work with my community of fans to create what they want to see. That is what is called community marketing.

Indie developers building games that are funded by fans are the future. If Sweet Baby Inc and other people want to control the “mainstream”, which angers fans, then they are welcomed to it. Let every angry fan, they call a bigot, turn to me. I have a game for them, with years of content that I will develop.

And it isn’t just me.

There’s hundreds of indie comic book creators, game developers, and authors. There’s so much much content out there that I haven’t payed attention to new mainstream games, movies, or comics.

If you’re a indie game developer, I want to see your support. Together, we can pull a Hogwarts Legacy. Despite the mainstream gaming journalists and ideologues efforts, it was the highest selling game of last year, maybe even of all time!

They think they have power, but Gamers always win. When a developers just develops something for the fans, they win as well!

I’d be stupid not to do what the fans want with Tales from Trinity City!
