Wow, Black Hops keeps Getting Better

Back a few years ago, the very first indie comic I bought, downloaded, and enjoyed was the Kamen America Black Hops crossover. It had Kamen America, it had the characters from Black Hops – and I was enthralled by the story. I knew I needed to get up to speed, so I got all the Black Hops and Kamen America stories soon after – to understand the story. I enjoyed the afternoon to catch up on all the stories.

Fast forward a few years. I get the Black Hops 2nd Omnibus, and I read both Omnibuses. All I can do is say how much I love these stories. Especially when the first omnibus ends with such a powerful page!

I read each comic in earnest, first starting with USA-*-GI taking out North Korea’s nuclear capabilities. Nice work my favourite Rabbit. The team only expands with each comic, with the threat of Apex Moth.

What Apex is up to, I feel that it’s going to take the combined might of everyone to take him on – the Soulfinders, the Kamen Corp, Black Hops, and maybe even Tomorrow Girl.

Yes, even Tomorrow Girl showed up in Black Hops 6, just a day too late.

But who is the mysterious man behind Apex Moth, and who was the man who originally gave USA-*-GI his powers with that experiment. What is going on with that story? I need to know.

The art, the characters and their relationships, and the storytelling are amazing. I can’t stop singing the praise of Iconic Comics. They are amazing and I want to see where they take their stories.
