When I was a child, I had two heroes. Superman, and Hercules. In my pattern finding child mind, they were basically the same hero. A man with incredible strength, stronger than mortal men, fighting against villains on my TV screen.
I loved them both like the great heroes they are!
Last year, Cirsova had a campaign that tickled my fancy, the Mighty Sons of Hercules. This wasn’t old Herc with Newton the Centaur, but it would do. So I supported the book.
But because of my work, and craziness at my home last year I never had a chance to read as much as I would have preferred. But this year I have changed things around so I can focus on reading on work days, and writing on weekends. And I can say it’s working. I can do over 20 blogs worth of writing on my weekend, and reading a book over a week.
That’s what I did with the Mighty Sons of Hercules. Herc’s sons go all around the world as wanderers and fight for what is right. Every story was intriguing and I love them all. It’s well worth the read – you can get it at Amazon for $20 for the paper back, and $3.99 for the Kindle edition.
Thanks for the kind words. I have a story in this, Maciste in the Land of the Snakes. I also have a Kickstarter campaign for my own anthology going on right now that I’d love if you could share around: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/j-manfred-weichsel/sword-and-scandal?ref=creator-nav
